Litex Motors to Launch Serial Production of Great Wall Cars in 1Q2012

It will be followed by the Wingle pickup (otherwise known as Steed) and the Voleex C10 sedan later next year. The plant, which has an annual production capacity of 50 thousand vehicles, is expected to assemble a few thousand cars next year, using China-sourced SKD kits. Locally produced vehicles will only be sold on the local market in the next two years, after which the plant will start exports to other eastern European countries. The vehicles will be sold under the Great Wall brand.

Litex Motors AD launched pilot production of Great Wall vehicles at its plant near Lovech in November.
