Yazaki Romania, one of the future suppliers of Ford’s local plant, will inaugurate a factory in Caracal, Olt County, on October 6th. Yazaki has rented a 6,000 square meter area within the Romanita clothing factory in Caracal, where it will invest €10 million to manufacture electric cables and wire harnesses for Ford Romania in Craiova.
The Japanese company registered a €10 million net profit and €123.3 million turnover in Romania in 2010. Yazaki is already present in Romania, with factories in Ploiesti and Arad, and an engineering center in Timisoara.
