Weiss Hungaria to Further Expand Capacity in Gyor

The additional investment of €1.4 million is necessary because the company projects a 15-20% rise of production, and will bring about new hires too, next year, Napi Gazdasag reported on Wednesday. The project will include building additional manufacturing capacity as well as equipment purchases. Preparations of expansion will start soon.

Weiss Hungária has recently completed its first Hungary plant in Gyor as a €1.6m greenfield investment. The production base started with 77 employees in the summer of 2011.
The company supplies electronics and car manufacturers, and its clients include the Knorr-Bremse plant in Kecskemet. It plans €5m sales already this year.
