UAZ plans to invess €13.8 Million in Product Development in 2011

ULYANOVSK, Russia - The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ), a member of Russian Sollers Group, has announced plans to invest RUB560 million (approx. €13.8 million) in various product development activities in 2011. The investment includes the addition of Euro-4 compilant ZMZ-40904.10 and ZMZ-51432.10 engines for the entire Hunter and Patriot model range.

Under plans, the funds will also be used to continue investment projects that started last year, such as the production of specialty cars based on the UAZ-390945 (farmer) and UAZ-330365 vehicles, the modernisation of the Patriot model as well as the production of rear-view mirrors in-house.
