Trakya Cam and Saint-Gobain Sekurit Sign Russian JV Deal

Trakya Cam will have a 70% share in the JV, with Saint-Gobain Sekurit holding the remaining 30%. The JV facility in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in the Republic of Tatarstan, will produce up to 800 thousand complete sets (windshield, sidelite and backlite) annually.

The two companies had previously signed a eparate joint-venture agreement for the production of high quality flat glass, mirror and coated glass in the Alabuga SEZ. Both the flat glass and automotive glass JV companies will start production in 2013.
