Sollers to Start Production of SsangYong’s SUT-1 in 1Q2012

Sollers-Far East plans to launch SKD assembly of SsangYong’s third generation double cab pickup at its Vladivistok car plant in early 2012. The SsangYong SUT-1 will reportedly be sold in Russia under the Actyon Sports name. The upgraded 2.0 liter D20DTF diesel engine produces 155hp and 360 Nm and can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Customers will be able to choose from a wide range of options, incl. power sunroof, audio system with Bluetooth/RDS, rear view camera, etc. Sales of the new Actyon Sports is to start in early 2012.
