Škoda Acquires Crash-Test Center from TÜV-Süd

Škoda has acquired the site in the Czech town of Uhelnice near Husí Lhota from TÜV-Süd. The investment is another measure Škoda has taken to permanently improve the active and passive safety of its model range. The test site is used for dynamic crash tests, including both complete vehicles as well as with individual vehicle components.

The acquired crash-test facility is not an unknown test site for Škoda. The brand has been testing its vehicles here since the eighties, i.e. in collaboration with the TÜV-Süd.
