Russia’s largest steel company Severstal intends to invest over RUB1 billion (approx. €24.5 million) to construct a service metal center in the town of Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad region. The new facility with a projected annual capacity of 170,000 tons of flat-rolled metal, will be situated adjacent to the existing site of Gestamp-Severstal-Kaluga stamping facility, which supplies stamped body parts to foreign carmaker’s local facilities. Construction is due to start this year and be completed within 16 months.
