Serbia Signs Grant Agreement on Second Phase of Grammer’s Aleksinac Factory

BEOGRAD, Republic of Serbia - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic and representatives of Germany’s Grammer AG have signed an agreement on the €1.07 million expansion of the company’s Aleksinac plant, which will create an additional 211 jobs at the site.

The Serbian state will support the investment’s second phase with €844 thousand, which represents €4,000 for each newly created job. The plant will produce various interior components for OEMs like Audi, BMW, Ford, Opel, Seat, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen. Grammer System d.o.o., Grammer’s Serbian subsidiary currently has 515 employees.
