Renault-Nissan May Acquire Controlling Stake in AvtoVAZ in 1H12

Under plans, Renault will increase its share in AvtoVAZ from current 25 to 35 percent, while Nissan will acquire a stake of 15 percent in the company. The Alliance is expected to buy Troika Dialog’s 25 percent stake, for which it intends to pay with cash and equipment/know-how over a four year period. Russian Technologies will keep its 25 percent blocking stake in AvtoVAZ, while the remaining 25% shares will be traded publicly.
