Polytec Interior Polska Changes Name to Boshoku Automotive Poland

With the takeover of Austria-based Polytec’s interior business by Japanese supplier Toyota Boshoku Corporation, Polytec Interior Polska Sp. z o.o. has been officially renamed to Boshoku Automotive Poland Sp. z o.o. The Tomaszów plant produces interior trim components such as centre consoles, pillar covers, seat back panels, door panels, etc. Its customers include Audi, BMW, GM, Saab, Volkswagen and Volvo.

Toyota Boshoku acquired Austria-based Polytec’s interior business with eight manufacturing sites in Germany (6), Poland (1) and South Africa (1) and one development/research site in Germany. The newly acquired interior business is operate as Boshoku Automotive Europe GmbH, headquartered in Geretsried, Germany.
