Polish Boryszew to Acqiure Assets of Indian Automotive Supplier Sebros

WARSAW, Poland - The management board of Polish chemicals and plastics group Boryszew S.A. announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understandig for the acquisition of some assets of India-based Sebros Auto Private Ltd., a manufacturer of pipes, tubes, ducts and hoses for the automotive industry.

The Management Board of Boryszew S.A. announces it has signed a MoU for the acquisition of some assets of India-based Sebros Auto Private Limited. Subject of the MoU is the acquisition of the manufacturing plant near Pune as well as selected assets in Faridabad. Liabilities will be excluded from the transaction.

The acquisition will be executed by the special purpose company, Boryszew’s subsidiary, Maflow India, which has been now under the process of registration. The transaction should be completed in 4-5 weeks from the date of signing the MoU.

The acquisition of Sebros assets by Borysew is connected to the company’s plans to strengthen its position on the growing BRIC markets (Brazil, Russia, India and China).

Boryszew recently took control over French automotive components producer Maflow.
