New car market in the Czech Republic: August, 2016 figures are released

According to data, released by the Car Importers Association in the Czech Republic there were 23,099 new light vehicles registered in the Czech Republic during August, 2016. During the first eight months, total registration of new light vehicles amounted to 185,259 units (12533 units of LCV and 172,726 units of PC)

There were 21,249 new passenger cars registered in August.
Leading brands:
Škoda: 5713 units
Volkswagen: 2206 units
Hyundai: 1735 units
Dacia: 1146 units
Ford: 1094 units

There were 1850 new LCVs registered in August.
Leading brands:
Fiat: 289 units
Ford: 274units
Renault: 260 units
Peugot: 227 units
Volkswagen: 169 units
