New car market in Slovenia: December, 2012 and CY 2012 data

According to data released by the Association of Automobile Manufacturers and Authorised Importers there were 55.060 new cars sold in Slovenia during 2012.

There were 48.648 passenger cars sold
Top 10 brands:
Renault: 7.418 units
Volkswagen: 6.751 units
Peugeot: 3.790 units
Opel: 3.563 units
Citroen: 3.318 units
Skoda: 3.087 units
Kia: 2.723 units
Ford: 2.568 units
Hyundai: 2.273 units
Chevrolet: 1.629 units

There were 6.412 LCVs sold.
Top 10 brands
Peugeot: 1.720 units
Renault: 1.472 units
Volkswagen: 1.138 units
Citroen: 644 units
Fiat: 410 units
Ford: 255 units
Opel: 224 units
Mercedes-Benz: 143 units
Iveco: 77 units
Skoda-Toyota: 63-63 units

As for December, 2012: there were 2.489 new passenger cars and 553 LCVs sold.
