New car market in Serbia: May, 2016 figures are released

According to data released by Auto magazine and the Serbian Association of Vehicle and Part Distributors there were 2,375 new cars and light commercial vehicles sold in Serbia during May, 2016. Between January-May, 2016 total sales amounted to 11,220 units (1375 units of LCV, 9845 units of PC).

There were 2,080 new passenger cars sold in May.
Leading brands:
Škoda: 370 units
Fiat: 288 units
Volkswagen: 169 units
Hyundai: 159 units
Opel: 152 units

There were 295 LCVs sold in May.
Leading brands:
Fiat: 126 units
Volkswagen: 63 units
Opel: 21 units
Dacia: 20 units
Ford: 17 units
