New car market in Russia: September, 2018 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 6,2% in September 2018 compared to the same month of the previous year. This September, 157,371 units were sold; 9,162 units more than in September 2017.

In the first nine eight months of 2018, a total of 1,297,432 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in September, 2018:
Lada: 31,173 units
Kia: 18,911 units
Hyundai: 16,100 units
Toyota*: 11,237 units
Renault*: 10,398 units
Volkswagen: 9,364 units
Nissan: 7,840 units
Škoda: 7,777 units
Ford: 4,644 units
GAZ LCV: 4,548 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
