New car market in Russia: October, 2023 sales data released
According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee, total sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in October 2023 amounted to 110,150 units. These figures are confirmed by sales data of new cars from PPŠ” - 119,864 units. The difference in numbers is due to additional sales through alternative channels. Sales growth for January-October 2023 was 38% compared to the same period last year. The dynamics of market development show that it can reach 1 million new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles by the end of the year, which corresponds to the previously announced AEB forecast.
