New car market in Russia: October, 2019 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 5.2% in October 2019 compared to the same month of the previous year. This October, 152,057 units were sold; 368 units less than in October 2018.

In the first ten months of 2019, a total of 1,423,449 new cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in October, 2019:
Lada: 30,237 units
Kia: 20,141 units
Hyundai: 15,827 units
Renault*: 13,670 units
Volkswagen: 9,253 units
Škoda: 8,903 units
Toyota: 7,887 units
GAZ LCV*: 6,530 units
UAZ: 3,924 units
Mercedes-Benz: 3,787 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
