New car market in Russia: June, 2021 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 36,9% in June 2021 compared to the same month of the preceding year. In the sixth month of the current year, 157,808 units were sold; 35,186 units more than in June 2020.

In the first half of 2021, sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 36,9% compared to the same period in 2020 or by 234,790 sold units, and amounted to 870,749 cars, according to AEB AMC.

Lada: 40,096 units
Hyundai: 19,204 units
Kia: 18,801 units
Renault: 13,265 units
Volkswagen: 10,220 units
Škoda: 10,063 units
Toyota: 7,541 units
GAZ*: 4,637 units
Nissan: 4,100 units
Haval: 3,509 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
