New car market in Russia: June, 2018 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 10.8% in June 2018 compared to the same month of the previous year. This June, 156,351 units were sold; 15,261 units more than in June 2017.

In the first half of 2018, a total of 849,221 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in June, 2018:
Lada: 31,404 units
Kia: 19,861 units
Hyundai: 16,422 units
Renault*: 13,567 units
Toyota*: 9,117 units
Volkswagen: 8,934 units
Nissan: 7,392 units
Škoda: 7,144 units
GAZ LCV: 5,355 units
Ford: 4,305 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
