New car market in Russia: July, 2016 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 16,6% in July 2016 compared to the same month of 2015. This July 109,410 units were sold; 21,742 units less than in July 2015.
Total sales in the first seven months of 2016 amounted to 781,605 cars.

Top 10 brands in July, 2016:
Lada: 21,754 units
Kia: 11,841 units
Hyundai*: 10,802 units
Renault*: 9,132 units
Toyota*: 7,144 units
Volkswagen: 5,839 units
Nissan*: 4,764 units
Škoda: 4,670 units
GAZ*: 4,115 units
Ford*: 3,306 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
