New car market in Russia: February, 2016 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 13,4% in February 2016 compared to the same month of 2015. This February 111,145 units were sold; 17,232 units less than in February 2015.
Total sales in the first two months of 2016 amounted to 193,072 cars.

Top 10 brands in February, 2016:
Lada: 19,035 units
Kia: 11,492 units
Hyundai*: 10,510 units
Renault*: 8,823 units
Toyota*: 7,953 units
Nissan*: 7,319 units
Volkswagen: 5,399 units
Škoda: 4,076 units
Ford: 3,418 units
Mercedes-Benz: 3,333 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
