New Car Market in Romania: September, 2025 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 13840 new light vehicles registered in Romania in September, 2025. CY2025 registrations amount to 118614 units (PC: 108233 units, LCV: 10381 units)

There were 12577 new passenger cars registered in September.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 4121 units
Renault: 1189 units
Toyota: 1057 units
Škoda: 895 units
Volkswagen: 714 units
Hyundai: 690 units
Ford: 619 units
BMW: 373 units
Mercedes: 373 units
MG: 280 units

There were 1263 new LCVs registered in September.
Leading brands:
Ford: 316 units
Renault: 235 units
Volkswagen: 231 units
Iveco: 119 units
Mercedes: 94 units
Toyota: 61 units
Peugeot: 60 units
Fiat: 54 units
