New car market in Romania: September, 2014 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In September 2014, there were 8,705 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers.
In the first nine months of 2014, total new light vehicle registrations in Romania amounted to 69,982 units.

There were 7,571 new passenger cars delivered in September, 2014.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 2,421 units
Volkswagen: 878 units
Škoda: 700 units
Ford: 624 units
Renault: 553 units

There were 1,134 new LCVs delivered in September, 2014.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 195 units
Opel: 186 units
Peugeot: 154 units
Ford: 111 units
Volkswagen: 107 units
