New Car Market in Romania: May, 2025 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 11593 new light vehicles registered in Romania in May, 2025. CY2025 registrations amount to 59041 units (PC: 53704 units, LCV: 5337 units)

There were 10390 new passenger cars registered in May.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 2643 units
Toyota: 960 units
Škoda: 909 units
Volkswagen: 819 units
Renault: 659 units
Hyundai: 576 units
Ford: 520 units
BMW: 480 units

There were 1203 new LCVs registered in May.
Leading brands:
Ford: 303 units
Volkswagen: 232 units
Renault: 158 units
Iveco: 142 units
Toyota: 80 units
Fiat: 79 units
Peugeot: 51 units
Mercedes: 44 units
