New car market in Romania: July, 2016 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In July, 2016 there were 14,004 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers. During the first seven months of 2016 total figures amounted to 70,344 units (9072 units of LCV, 61,272 units of PC).

There were 12,830 new passenger cars delivered in July.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 4341 units
Volkswagen: 1496 units
Škoda: 1076 units
Ford: 798 units
Renault: 778 units

There were 1174 new LCVs delivered in July.
Leading brands:
Ford: 225 units
Mercedes-Benz: 147 units
Dacia: 145 units
Fiat: 145 units
Renault: 135 units
