New Car Market in Romania: December, 2025 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 23305 new light vehicles registered in Romania in December, 2025. CY2025 registrations amount to 171494 units (PC: 156724 units, LCV: 14770 units)

There were 21580 new passenger cars registered in December.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 6794 units
Renault: 2846 units
Toyota: 1720 units
Škoda: 1146 units
Hyundai: 1121 units
Volkswagen: 1116 units
Ford: 837 units
MG: 525 units
BMW: 490 units
Byd: 404 units

There were 1725 new LCVs registered in December.
Leading brands:
Renault: 539 units
Ford: 386 units
Volkswagen: 224 units
Iveco: 161 units
Fiat: 81 units
Citroën: 75 units
Mercedes: 74 units
