New car market in Romania: December, 2016 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In December, 2016 there were 13,162 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers. During 2016 total figures amounted to 132,654 units (17,679 units of LCV, 114,975 units of PC).

There were 10,566 new passenger cars delivered in December.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 3604 units
Volkswagen: 916 units
Renault: 860 units
Škoda: 785 units
Ford: 716 units

There were 2101 new LCVs delivered in December.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 624 units
Ford: 333 units
Fiat: 184 units
Volkswagen: 179 units
Mercedes-Benz: 179 units
