New Car Market in Romania: August, 2025 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 16087 new light vehicles registered in Romania in August, 2025. CY2025 registrations amount to 104774 units (PC: 95656 units, LCV: 9118 units)

There were 15090 new passenger cars registered in August.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 4150 units
Toyota: 1638 units
Hyundai: 1577 units
Renault: 1017 units
Škoda: 797 units
Volkswagen: 765 units
Ford: 759 units
BMW: 562 units
Mercedes: 443 units
Suzuki: 422 units

There were 997 new LCVs registered in August.
Leading brands:
Ford: 314 units
Volkswagen: 142 units
Iveco: 128 units
Renault: 125 units
Fiat: 63 units
Peugeot: 62 units
Mercedes-Benz: 56 units
Toyota: 38 units
