New Car Market in Romania: August, 2024 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 10981 new light vehicles registered in Romania during August, 2024. CY2024 total amounts to 117893 units (PC: 105198 units, LCV: 12695 units)

There were 9970 new passenger cars registered in August.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 2370 units
Hyunda: 1031 units
Toyota: 930 units
Volkswagen: 827 units
Škoda: 521 units
Mercedes: 485 units
Ford: 415 units
BMW: 396 units

There were 1011 new LCVs registered in August.
Leading brands:
Ford: 306 units
Renault: 253 units
Iveco: 111 units
Volkswagen: 81 units
Fiat: 79 units
Mercedes: 66 units
