New car market in Romania: August, 2017 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In August, 2017 there were 11,498 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers. During the first 8 months of 2017 total deliveries amounted to 91,945 units (PC: 79,967 units; LCV: 11,978 units)

There were 9745 new passenger cars delivered in August.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 2128 units
Volkswagen: 1211 units
Škoda: 925 units
Renault: 920 units
Ford: 788 units

There were 1753 new LCVs delivered in August.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 435 units
Ford: 383 units
Mercedes: 190 units
Renault: 155 units
Volkswagen: 127 units
