New car market in Moldova: October, 2018 figures are released

According to figures released by local authorities, there were 547 new light vehicles registered in Moldova during October, 2018. In ten months of 2018 there were 5109 units registered (PC: 4783 units, LCV: 326 units). Many of the vehicles, which are usually registered as an LCV, are registered as a PC in Moldova.

There were 529 new passenger cars registered in October.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 101 units
Hyundai: 54 units
Škoda: 50 units
Toyota: 41 units
Kia: 40 units

There were 18 new LCVs registered in October.
