New car market in Moldova: May, 2017 figures are released

According to figures released by local authorities, there were 422 new light vehicles registered in Moldova during May, 2017. In the first five months of 2017 total registrations amounted to 1883 units (PC: 1824 units, LCV: 59 units). Many of the vehicles, which are usually registered as an LCV, are registered as a PC in Moldova.

There were 406 new passenger cars registered in May.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 65 units
Škoda: 46 units
Hyundai: 42 units
Toyota: 39 units
Mercedes-Benz: 34 units

There were 16 new LCVs registered in May.
