New Car Market In Moldova: January, 2026 Figures Are Released

According to figures released by local authorities, there were 598 new light vehicles registered in Moldova in January, 2026.

There were 571 new passenger cars registered in January.
Leading brands:
Toyota: 91 units
Byd: 77 units
Škoda: 52 units
Kia: 37 units
BAIC: 36 units
Dacia: 33 units
Suzuki: 30 units
Geely: 28 units
Hyundai: 19 units
Volkswagen: 19 units

There were 27 vehicles registered as LCVs in January - 14 of those belonged to Vanche, which is a minibus made by Higer.
