CRAIOVA, Romania - Jan Gijsen, currently director for the new markets of Ford Europe has been appointed CEO of Ford Romania SA and Director of the Ford car factory in Craiova, as of January 1st, 2011. In this position he will succeed Dioni Campos san Onofre, who lead the Romanian branch in the last two years.
Additionally, he will also be responsible for the relation between Ford Europe and Ford Otosan factory, a joint-venture in Turkey. Gijsen has been with Ford for the past 30 years, holding various positions in production over the years.
