Hirschmann Car Communications Inaugurates Expanded Manufacturing Facility in Hungary

Hirschmann Car Communication GmbH, a German supplier of car antennas and tuners, today inaugurated a €500,000 expansion of its base in Békéscsaba (SE Hungary), MTI reports. The investment, necessary because of growing orders, increased the production area from 3,300sqm to 4,500sqm at Hirschmann Car Communication's base. The company covered the cost of the expansion with its own resources, said managing director Peter Inzenhoffer.

Hirschmann Car Communication employs about 460 people in Hungary. The German parent has invested €6m at the unit since it was established 20 years ago.
