Germany’s Berger Expands Polish Plant

A Berger Polska Sp. z o.o. plans to complete construction of a new production hall in Kedzierzyn-Kozle by the end of November, local newswire New Opole Tribune reported.
In connection with the expansion, the number of workforce will grow from 170 to about 400. After opening the new hall, total production area will increase from current 3.6 thousand sqm to almost 9 thousand sqm.

The company, a subsidiary of German Berger Holding, is producing precision-turned and milled parts for the automotive and other industries.

Construction of a new production hall at Berger’s existing site in Kedzierzyn-Kozle is expected to be completed by the end of 2011
