BRUSSELS, Belgium -Fremach International N.V., a Belgian supplier of moulded plastic components for the automotive and electronics industries, plans to invest €10 million to build a new production plant in Trnava, Western Slovakia.
The facility, whose construction will start in June and will be completed by the end of 2011, will comprise of a 10,440m2 production unit and a warehouse covering 11,275m2. It will produce a range of plastics components including power sockets, mounting brackets and instrument panel parts. The company plans to install in the new facility around 15 injection presses with a clamping force of up to 350 tonnes and 23 presses of over 350 tonnes brought from its previous Trnava site. The investment will reportedly create 100 new jobs.
Fremach acquired the Slovak production unit in 2007 from Punch International of Sint-Martins-Latem, Belgium.
For the automotive sector, Fremach produces, decorates and assembles interior parts, such as control panels for car radio, air conditioning and navigation systems, door handles , steering wheel parts and general dashboard elements, with or without electronics.
