Fiat Auto Poland’s Output May Fall by 25% in 2012

Production at the Tychy plant is expected to fall significantly over the next year due to several unfavourable factors

The expected decline in production can be explained with new orders falling significantly in Western European markets, with the decision to build the new Panda in Pomigliano d'Arco instead of Tychy and with the yet unconfirmed production transfer of the Ford Ka to Craiova.

Due to unfavourable market conditions Fiat expects to produce 300 thousand less cars at its European plants in 2012
