Chevrolet Niva Production on Temporary Halt Due to Parts Shortage

GM-AVTOVAZ has temporarily halted production of the Chevrolet Niva at its Togliatti plant, because of a parts shortage. The production line will be halted on 10, 11 and 14 of February. Employees affected by the stoppage will reseive two-thirds of their average salary.
The assembly line will be restarted on February 15, and will continue production 5 days per week, 2 shifts per day, 8 hours per shift.
