BYD Returns to the Ukrainian Market

Poland’s Iberia Motor Capital Group (IMCG) and BYD Co., Ltd., one of the largest Chinese car manufacturers, have signed a long-term contract on the exclusive distribution of the entire range of BYD vehicles in Poland, Ukraine and in the Baltic countries.

In Ukraine IMCG will sell the cars through its subsidiary company Automotive Europe Corporation (AEC). AEC plans to begin sales of BYD models in the fall. The company expects to sell at least 500 units there by year-end. Additionally, the company will also act as the sole authorized BYD distributor in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
