KALININGRAD, Russia - Russian car maker Avtotor has started SKD assembly of the updated Cadillac CTS sedan at its Kaliningrad plant.
The company, which assembles other Cadillac models such as the SRX and Escalade, may broaden its lineup with the CTS Coupe in the future.
The 2011 Cadillac CTS will go on sale in Russia equipped with 3.6 liter naturally aspirated 304 hp petrol engine. In the first eleven months of 2010, Avtotor assembled more than a thousand Cadillac cars.
